As of January 1st, 2025, Homegrown Doodle puppies are $2300 in total. We require a reservation fee of $300 to hold a puppy which comes off the total. At the time of puppy pick up, the remaining $2000
is due. This reservation fee is non-refundable unless the dam does not become pregnant or there are not enough puppies; If this happens you can choose to either have your deposit refunded or move your name to the next litter available.
Puppy choosing and go home day are the same day at 8 weeks. We wait until 8 weeks for very good reason. We perform in depth temperment testing at 7 weeks. Prior to 7 weeks, testing is not as accurate. We collect the information from these tests, provide them to our clients and allow families to learn as much as possible about each puppy prior to choosing, a week later. Puppies are all unique; they have different energy levels, different levels of touch tolerance, stress and nerve strength. My goal is to help my clients find the best match for them. Better matches equals less puppies needing to be re-homed. I always allow clients to choose but I'm here for help if desired.
DO GOLDENDOODLES SHED?
Goldendoodles come in straight, wavy and curly coats. The straight coats may shed some but the wavy and curly coats should shed little to none. Most of our pups are wavy/curly coated.
CAN I RESERVE MY PUPPY BY GENDER?
We don't allow reservations based on gender or coat colour. Choosing goes in order of deposits paid and occurs at 8 weeks.
WHY DO WE WAIT UNTIL 8 WEEKS TO CHOOSE OUR PUPPY?
The puppy curriculum I follow believes very much in choosing your puppy based on their puppy evaluations instead of basing your choice on looks, gender, etc. We have to wait until at least the 7 week mark to get the most accurate results possible from our puppy testing. My clients receive the videos and notes taken from each puppy to help them in their decision making when they come to choose and take their pup home at 8 weeks.
ARE GOLDENDOODLES HYPOALLERGENIC?
Contrary to popular belief, Goldendoodles are not considered hypoallergenic. In fact no such dog exists! Some dogs, including goldendoodles, may cause very little to no allergy symptoms at all. Often times the curlier coated goldendoodles tend to be easier on the allergy sufferer.
DO YOU SELL PUPPIES FOR SERVICE & THERAPY WORK?
Yes! I am a certified puppy aptitude evaluater, therefore, I am able to help you choose the right puppy for the job required.
